Restore Our Sacred Lake 5K
We follow the Thanksgiving Address by protecting Mother Earth. The eagle has returned to Onondaga Lake for the first time in over 200 years. We invite runners and walkers to come to Onondaga Lake for a day of celebration. This event will raise awareness of the importance of the lake and the urgency of furthering the cleanup efforts.
START/FINISH
Both the 5K and 10K races will start and finish at Onondaga Lake Park Marina & Boat Launch using the course maps shown below. Participants will run/walk/roll on the Restoration Way walking path along the shore of Onondaga Lake.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race. Packet pickup will take place at the park near the start/finish line from 6:30am right up until the start of the race at 8:00am.
POST RACE CELEBRATION
The post race awards ceremony will take place in the park!
PARKING
There will be plenty of free parking at the park.
AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Trophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female 5K finishers. All participants can download custom finisher certificates from the event page and view/share finish line photos following the race!
14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older.

CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, shelter-in-place, limit on social gatherings, etc), we want runners to know up front that we reserve the right to reschedule the event date if needed OR convert this to a virtual 5K race. There will be no refunds.
TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
The 5K & 10K Run will feature a gun start and chip finish. Professional timing and finish line services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results will be updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
